Lessons and prices

At Taylor’s we do mostly two hour driving lessons, that’s because experience has taught us that 2 hour lessons optimise a new drivers’ learning.

That’s not to say we don’t do longer or shorter driving lessons. You’re an individual and we can customise your in-car lesson lengths and times according to what works best with your learning schedule.

The DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) recommends 45 hours of professional tuition and 20 hours of practice for a new driver to reach test standard.

There are many factors that could affect the time it takes you to safely learn to drive; the age of the learner, the learning pace of individuals and previous road knowledge and experience.
